About Carol

Hi! I’m Carol.

I created The 7th Decade for women who still care about looking good, no matter our body type, feeling our best, trying new things and enjoying life, regardless of how many candles will be on the next birthday cake.

For years, I’ve answered questions from women on the Quora platform about skincare, beauty products and the changes we see in our skin as we get older. I believe good skincare doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. It does need to be consistent, and it helps to know which products are worth your time and money.

I’m now in my 8th decade of living. In my 60s and now, in my late 70s, I’ve developed interests in so many things: travel, fashion, products that make everyday life a little better, and the experiences and lessons that have come with getting older. I’ll share some of those along the way, and I hope you will too.

I’m not here to tell women how to “turn back the clock.” I’d much rather enjoy the life I have right now and continue being curious about what comes next.
